Kate Jones is a Clinical Psychologist who completed a Bachelor of Psychology with first class honours at the University of Sydney. She then went on to complete a Master of Clinical Psychology at the University of Technology Sydney in 2018. She is a member of the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.

Kate has a passion for working with children, adolescents, adults, and their families across a broad range of areas. She generally sees clients who present with mild to moderate symptomatology. Kate will typically see clients for regular therapy sessions across a 6 month period.

Kate utilises evidence-based practice, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Schema Therapy, and Mindfulness-Integrated CBT. Across her professional development, Kate has been involved in social, emotional, and behavioural skills training programs for children, adolescents, and their parents/carers.

When she doesn’t have her psychologist hat on, Kate enjoys bushwalking, snowboarding, art and craft, and admiring the architecture, culture, and food of new cities.

It is with great sadness that we let you know of the passing of beautiful Astrid. Astrid has warmed our hearts as a therapy dog here at Jones & Co Psychology. She was a kind and gentle soul, and she brought joy to the lives of so many people.

She will be greatly missed.
